ForGood provides a managed service for monitoring & evaluation.
For evaluation to become a successful ongoing business process within any organization, it must bring together technology and people.
ForGood helps nonprofits share results from the field seamlessly with donors and decision makers. We do this by creating technology that simplifies the process of impact reporting, allowing nonprofits to share accurate reports with donors regularly. Donors feel a closer connection to the projects they support because they can actually see the impact their donations are creating in the field.
This model of transparent data collection and reporting allows everyone involved to make informed decisions, resulting in more impactful field work, and more effective organizations. Check out the How it Works page to learn more about the process.
If you are a nonprofit organization, please email us directly for a demo and more information about how we can improve your reporting systems. We would love to meet you!
We got our start working for successful technology companies, and have always been passionate about working with nonprofits in our free time. Over the years, our involvement with organizations grew and grew until we found ourselves taking on projects and sitting on boards.
One project, in particular, focused on donor behavior - we were tasked with figuring out what prompts people to support organizations. How do you get donors engaged in your work? We learned a few key things during this project about donor behavior: 1) People give when they feel connected to a cause; 2) People do not have “pet” causes, but wish they did; 3) People give relationally when asked by friends and family.
We now had a basic understanding of donor behavior, and we wanted to dig deeper into what makes donors feel a connection to a cause. We realized that giving donors more insight into what was happening in the field would help reveal how their donations were changing lives.
Nonprofits shared the same view - they really wanted to form personal connections with donors by sharing impact reports from the field, but they didn’t have the resources or the bandwidth. We knew we could build the solution to this problem - a platform to create stronger relationships between donors and nonprofits through impact reporting, so we started ForGood.
We love what we do, and we are excited to be involved with transforming impact reporting and helping donors form deeper connections with causes they love.
